Richard Stratton, Managing Director and Partner MENA, has made the Construction Week’s ranking of the Middle East’s 100 most influential construction leaders of 2020.
Featuring on the list for the second year running, Richard is the first leader to climb an incredible 41 positions from the previous year.
The Power 100 brand has established itself as a celebration of those most influential in shaping the future of the Middle East’s cities. Richard’s inclusion on the list on behalf of Cundall showcases the amazing work, dedication and drive of everyone at Cundall.
As part of the award judging criteria, Construction Week’s editorial panel noted some of the amazing projects and initiatives undertaken by Cundall in MENA; specifically our work on ENOC Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai; AMC Cinemas in Saudi Arabia as the multidisciplinary design consultant and the Dark Sky Initiative for the Red Sea Development Company (TRSCD) where we will design a lighting strategy for the safe movement around the 28,000km2 site of the Red Sea Project. We were also commended for our sustainability efforts with our commitment to make our entire business Net Zero by the end of 2020 and Net Positive by 2025.
Richard Stratton comments, “I simply represent an amazing team and global business. Without all of the drive, ambition, passion and commitment of our people, this fantastic industry recognition would not be achievable. It is now my responsibility to use this accolade in collaboration with the other 99 to encourage positive change in the construction sector for the benefit of our communities and our One Planet. “
