University of Huddersfield, School of Human and Health Sciences

The Human and Health Sciences building is the first building to be built as part of the University of Huddersfield new campus masterplan. The aim is to create a world class educational facility that will set an example for all future developments. The building will provide cutting edge health research facilities, specialist general teaching, laboratories and office spaces.

Cundall is providing multi-disciplinary engineering services with sustainable design solutions that propel this project forward as world class. To achieve BREEAM Excellent our team has proposed the installation of roof mounted photovoltaics, efficient LED lighting and high efficiency air source heat pump for comfort heating and cooling and domestic hot water generation.
