The project consists of six above-ground levels offering 18,000m2 of gross leasable area and two underground levels. The building offers Grade A office spaces in the Shell and Core standard with common space on the office floors consisting of a staircase, lift cluster, common sanitary accommodation for tenants, and lift lobby, as well as an outside terrace.
Cundall delivered a full scope of mechanical, electrical and public health services and performed LEED v4 BD+C Core and Shell certification at Gold level which ensures the building is highly efficient and cost-effective. At Level -1, there are eight parking spaces equipped with charging outlets for electric vehicles, 18 parking spaces designated for low-emission vehicles and 18 parking spaces for carpool vehicles.
Wojtek Stec, Director, commented, "The design of the new office building in the very centre of Katowice is a testimony of the continuous conversion and modernisation of the city. The new building will compliment the nearest neighborhood, offering high quality services, offices and a public outdoor green open space. Our involvement included a complex approach to provide MEP design and ensure LEED certification, but also to help the client to address the issues of poor air quality in the local area."
