A vibrant multi-disciplinary office design in the heart of the city centre business region.
A complete 8,000m2 building fit out in the heart of Dublin’s city centre business region. Our multi-disciplinary team advised the client and the design team on the most economically suitable green solutions that allow the building to attain the lowest energy rating achievable. The design includes open plan work areas with cellular offices, meeting rooms, board rooms and commercial kitchens, areas with foldable walls to add flexibility.
With today's workplace refurbishments factoring many different design solutions, we prioritised sustainability, energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, health and wellbeing and agile working environments. By reviewing existing services and, where possible, designing for upgrades rather than full service replacements, the refurbishment minimised waste and capital cost. We also approached our client about upgrading the Building Energy Management System (BEMS) which would provide more accurate control of HVAC systems and ensure significant energy savings over the life of the building.
William Dolan, Associate Director, commented “From design to final completion of the project, we have worked closely with our client to achieve the most vibrant office fit-out possible. Our innovative design team focused on designing good quality ventilation with well-balanced acoustics and optimum lighting to improve both occupant wellbeing and productivity.”
With occupant wellbeing and productivity being a significant priority for our design team, we focused on designing optimum lighting, good quality ventilation along with well-balanced acoustics.
