Arden Square

Arden Square is a 44,000 sq.ft office space part of Radius Payment Solution development project. Cundall was appointed to deliver multi-disciplinary services for this four-storey office, comprising two wings of workspace flanking a central space – this area provides amenities, vertical circulation, breakout spaces, meeting rooms, and a rooftop sky bar – all arranged around a tapered conical four-storey atrium. The sky bar, has a Star Wars theme and provides a unique, fun event space for staff and customers, spilling out onto a rooftop terrace.

We were challenged with reducing the structural floor zones, relative to the similar Radius headquarters building. We achieved this with cellar beams to integrate services and a thin metal deck floor. Poor ground conditions than originally anticipated required long slender driven piles and shrinkable clays.
