Future-forward, human-centric and all-electric - Australia’s first Multi-Tenant Base Building to achieve Fitwel certification
As part of Salta Properties sustainability-focused Nexus Business Estate, 631 Springvale Road is a first-class, five level office building designed for a net zero future. It features optimised energy-efficiency, all-electric building services and a 96 kW PV solar array. It has achieved 5 Star Green Star Design & As Built v.1.2 rating and a 1 Star Fitwel rating.
Cundall provided holistic advisory to ensure the project team could achieve Green Star and Fitwel certification requirements through an integrated, human-centred approach incorporating active design, inclusivity features and net zero-ready building systems. As the first Fitwel project for our Melbourne team and for Salta, knowledge sharing and capacity building was key to developing potential compliance strategies.
Achieving both the Green Star and the Fitwel rating reflects Salta’s genuine commitment to achieving exceptional outcomes in relation to both environmental performance and the wellbeing of people and communities.
