Mitchell Johnstone

After completing a degree in mechanical engineering at Curtin University, I saw the difference I could make in applying my skills to help solve humanity’s challenge of how to live sustainably on our planet. I joined Cundall as a Sustainability Consultant to do just that. Currently, I am pursuing chartership with the Institute for Environmental Management & Assessment.

Creativity starts with questioning the status quo. We need to be asking, why have we been doing things the way we have been, and how can we do them better? By testing new ideas and approaches we can discover a novel solution to a problem or challenge.

Some may call me a perfectionist; I call it working with excellence. Details matter in the big picture, which means taking the time to fully investigate situations, ideas and approaches and then ensure comprehensive follow-through on design and delivery of solutions.
