Jack Smith

I joined Cundall in January 2023 and have over 10 years experience in the transportation sector. I graduated in 2011 with a BA (Hons) degree in Human Geography from University of Portsmouth. I have always been interested in the urban growth of towns and cities, and particularly how transportation plays a vital role in achieving sustainable growth. I recently became an Advanced Practitioner in Construction Logistics Planning, looking at more sustainable and safer practices when considering logistics to and from construction sites.

I support Cundall’s drive for excellence by learning from past successes and challenges on projects. I actively seek out self-improvement through training and knowledge sharing within my team. Currently, I am working towards my Transport Planning Chartership.

Collaboration plays a key role in building a successful team and producing high quality work. Communication and helping each other where possible brings a team together in achieving a collective outcome. It is important to always listen to each person as no matter how great or small their input it contributes to a larger picture.
