Gavin Bonner

I joined Cundall in 2004 and my early career was focused on civil and structural engineering, with early BIM implementation on projects. In 2014, I moved over to the building services teams, giving me the opportunity to truly drive BIM and digital transformation globally as a multi-disciplinary practice. My personal goal is to bring new technologies into mainstream use on projects by educating people about its benefits and how it can be applied effectively.

I’m a digital engineer with a diverse engineering background, and someone who specialises in creativity through digital engineering. I am always interested in how we can use technology to tell an engaging story, solve complex problems or create something that never existed before. I believe digital engineering has a critical role to play on our journey to net zero.

I am a person who believes that to succeed, you need to work collaboratively and be open minded about new ideas. My primary goal is to develop and implement new digital workflows across all our digital engineering teams and further enhance how we deliver projects for the future. We have a unique opportunity to rethink our approach to multi-disciplinary collaboration, with digital methods at the core.
