Gary Marshall

My passion for engineering was fuelled by a friend’s father, who was a civil engineer. He took me on a site visit to a large water scheme, where I learned how the system would improve the environment for an entire city. I joined Cundall in 1997 after studying civil engineering at Sunderland University. I then obtained an MSc in Project Management in Construction, became a Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

I believe that engineering excellence and delivering high quality design solutions that meet and exceed client’s expectations is essential to the continued development of both business and staff. This also provides a challenging but rewarding working environment, which brings opportunities to develop.

Cundall’s greatest asset is the people who work here, and I am proud to be part of the team. Our collaboration on projects and with project teams forms the basis of successful delivery and project outcomes for our clients.
