I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2018 with a MEng degree in Civil Engineering. I left university with a great interest in implementing more sustainable aspects into urban drainage design, which led me to begin working at Cundall. My interest in sustainable design has led me to become one of Cundall’s Zero Carbon Advocates, which I am hoping will allow me to develop more sustainable solutions to the problems civil engineers face in our work.
Creativity
I believe good engineering and successful problem-solving rely on being able to creatively navigate around issues that arise during a project. Having the opportunity to be creative makes work a fulfilling experience, which motivates me to deliver the quality of work our clients expect.
Collaboration
Whether it is within my direct team, the wider Cundall network or with external members of a project, being able to collaborate with people is one of the things I appreciate most within my work because it allows me to gain a different perspective on how to solve problems. It is great being able to work together with people who have different skills to achieve the same goal.
