Calum Smith

I graduated from the University of Bath in 2017 with a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering. Following an initial two years in the transportation industry, I was drawn to the world of fire engineering due to a desire to help influence the safety of the built environment. I am currently furthering my understanding of this field by studying part-time for an additional Masters in Fire Engineering.

Cundall aims for excellence in all projects and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Every job we work on is an opportunity to both demonstrate our talents and capability and to learn more from our clients and design team partners. We aim to carry the lessons learned into future projects.

Collaboration helps us deliver excellent performance throughout our organisation and can occur at multiple levels. We collaborate with our clients and the design team at a formal level to develop effective solutions to their design challenges; and we also collaborate informally with colleagues, sharing thoughts and ideas in a way that allows for innovation to occur.
