I started as a trainee engineer before going to university more than 30 years ago, and take great pride in the range of fascinating projects that I have delivered around the world. Since joining Cundall in 2006, I have drawn upon this experience to support engineers in gaining experience and professional registration. Working with BSRIA on documents such as BG6 has enabled me to contribute to the alignment of different parts of our industry.
Collaboration
Delivering complex projects requires teamwork. I enjoy the sense of achievement that comes from the shared success of multi-disciplinary teams collaborating to complete a design that meets or exceeds our client’s expectations, and then working with the contracting team to transform design into physical reality.
Excellence
I always want to do the best I can and support others in doing the same. As part of this, I lead our building services technical community in improving our products and services across all the sectors we work in. This is particularly important as we deliver net-zero carbon with our clients.
