I graduated from Loughborough University in 2013 after completing six months study abroad and promptly became a STEM Ambassador. I became chartered in 2018 and now help others on their path to chartership. I’ve been recognised as a UK Construction Week Role Model and as a Young Achiever by the ICE. More recently I have become a Mental Health Advocate. My passion for buildings runs deep and I like to share it with like-minded people.
Collaboration
True collaboration is priceless, it makes a project run so much better. Working as part of such a multi-disciplinary company really helps. Repeat work with colleagues builds a strong relationship that transfers to success in project work.
Creativity
Engineers are not typically considered as being creative, but we need to be. We cannot simply solve a problem in a technical way, we need to explore possible solutions and think outside the box for the best answers to the questions we face.
