Abdalla Ghoneim

I joined Cundall in 2018 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the American University of Sharjah. My exposure to unique and exciting projects within the structural team encouraged me to continue my development by graduating with a master’s degree in structural engineering, and complete a thesis on 3D concrete printing, whilst working full time with Cundall.

Since joining, Cundall has grown significantly locally and globally, which has given me the opportunity to work on significant large-scale projects with teams from all disciplines and different offices across the globe. This growth has only increased our experiences and knowledge sharing while maintaining our personal approach with individuals and teams.

Cundall has always been ahead when it comes to promoting net zero design and BIM in the industry, starting with educating the younger generations in universities and having discussions with clients and authorities. My time with Cundall has significantly grown my passion for sustainability and digital engineering, and I am keen to continue my development in sustainable, innovative and technology-driven structural design.
