Two International accolades for Australian lighting team

Australia 25 十一月 2022

The Cundall Australia Lighting team are shining brightly on the international design stage, with two awards in the International LIT Lighting Design Awards.

The Sydney Harbour Art House project won a Residential Lighting Award, and the First Sentier Investors Fitout won a Workplace Lighting Award.

“Both projects showcase the way creative inventive and human-centric lighting design enhances the human experience of places and spaces”, says Bettina Easton, Cundall Associate and Australian Lighting Design lead.

The LIT Awards are entered by leading lighting designers from around the world, and judged by industry experts including interior designers, architects and lighting designers.

“For our work to be recognised with such prestigious accolades is also a reflection of the power of collaboration between our lighting design team and the interior designers, architects, construction team and the clients,” added Easton.

“We put people at the heart of our process and deeply consider how illuminating space will support their wellbeing and the pleasure they gain from their workplace or home. These projects also show that investing in expert lighting design at the early stages of a project enables a brilliant outcome.”

It has been a rewarding year for the Cundall Lighting team. Early in the year Sydney Harbour Arthouse and the 99 Mount Street End-of-Trip (EOT) project both achieved shortlisting in the international d[arc] Awards, and in early November (2022) 99 Mount Street EOT and Cundall Light’s art installation Vivid Twenty Seven, won awards at the IES (NSW) Awards.
