Kavita Kumari wins WELL 2021 community award

Kavita Kumari, Sustainability Associate, has been awarded the WELL 2021 community award by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The award recognises outstanding members of the WELL Faculty and WELL AP (Accredited Professional) community, as well as WELL concept advisors.

Kavita a cohort of honourees, including individuals and organisations, from around the globe who are leading the charge to revolutionise the impact our buildings, organisations and communities have on health, equity and quality of life. The 2021 award winners have influenced WELL’s progress through action, feedback and proactive support. 2021 is also the first year IWBI recognised organisational-level adoption by WELL Portfolio members through their efforts to scale health and wellbeing strategies across their real estate assets.

IWBI President and CEO, Rachel Hodgdon, said:

“IWBI has experienced exponential growth over the past year, with organisations and industry leaders adopting WELL strategies to demonstrate a commitment to people-first places and an increasing prioritisation of well-being. Through continuous advocacy, engagement and leadership, these award recipients have played an influential role in this growth globally and within their local communities.”

Speaking about her latest award win, Kavita Kumari commented:

“I am honoured to have been awarded the WELL 2021 community award again. The international WELL Faculty and WELL AP community is made up of over 20,000 people from 113 nations, and I have been privileged to work hand in hand with them to help clients achieve IWBI’s WELL programs including the WELL Building Standard, the WELL Health-Safety Rating and WELL Portfolio. The greater good that these accreditations have on the community will be immense in meeting sustainable targets, and the experience has been very rewarding. Cundall has also delivered the most WELL Platinum is the world – an achievement my team and I are incredibly proud of.”
