Over the last five years, Cundall’s Dublin office has grown from a team of seven to a multi-disciplinary team of 28 with no plans to stop there.
We can now offer our clients building services, civil, structural and fire engineering services with locally based staff and support from our UK colleagues on the specialisms we provide.
It is a great achievement for the office to have developed a strong multi-disciplinary team to service an impressive client base in Ireland. In the last five years, the Dublin office has won and delivered many high-profile projects which have enabled the team to grow by 400%. This continued growth created a need for a larger space. Following a move to the city centre our new office is situated overlooking St Stephen’s Green. The newly opened office embraces the principles of the international WELL Building Standard making it an ideal setting for our staff to be based.
Client retention has been the key to our growing success and with prestigious clients such as the Office of Public Works, eir, IPUT, HSE, Irish Rail, Dublin Airport and Facebook. Cundall as a business has been at the forefront of using digital engineering to improve efficacies and has led the charge in becoming the first consultancy to achieve Carbon Neutral Certification. We will bring the knowledge from this process to our clients and the projects we work on.
The last five years have seen the construction industry grow in Ireland and from various reports, it appears will continue to do so. With the vaccine rollout gathering pace we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel in terms of recovery and a sense of normality returning. The residential, critical systems and healthcare sectors will continue to grow at a high pace and Cundall is well positioned to service these.
