Cundall wishes you a prosperous and healthy Year of the Tiger!
We are thankful to partner with St. James’ Settlement and Family Joy Together again and design this year’s Chinese New Year artwork. This collaboration will support the families and beneficiaries of the organisations in the Tin Shui Wai community.
The artwork is created by May Fung, one of the beneficiaries at Family Joy Together. Living in Tin Shui Wai with her family, May is the caregiver of a twelve-year-old special needs child with autism and mild intellectual disability. She has been participating in the painting and calligraphy therapy sessions organised by Family Joy Together since 2021, and she is now part of the Handmade Mothers volunteering group to develop her skills outside of her full-time caretaker duties.
Family Joy Together is a local organisation under St. James’ Settlement to provide support and assistance to special needs caregivers in Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong. The organisation aims to provide a platform with resources for the caregivers to share their experiences and support each other mutually, which ultimately relieve the stress in each special needs family.
