Cundall is proud to announce that the Belfast Office has been highly commended in the Sustainable Company of the Year category at this year's Business Eye Sustainability Awards.
The Business Eye Sustainability Awards showcases the best practices throughout Northern Ireland that implement sustainability within their business and collaborate within the wider industry to drive a greener future for Northern Ireland.
With the Belfast Office being highly commended in the headline award amongst 13 nominations, this is a clear indicator as to how we are successfully integrating sustainable practices throughout our operations. A significant part of Cundall’s operations include our pledge to achieve net zero carbon on all our projects by 2030. The Belfast office has invested heavily in upskilling our members in carbon and sustainability literacy to support this goal.
Office lead and Associate Director, Yvonne McNally, expressed her delight of the precious industry recognition: "It's a fantastic achievement for our office to be recognised amongst the very best businesses within Northern Ireland. Our staff members are always thinking of sustainability and how best to implement it within their designs for our clients. With our ambitious Zero Carbon Design 2030 (ZCD2030) pledge in full cycle, we look forward to continuing designing and delivering the low carbon solutions for Northern Ireland."
Jerry Cronin, Associate, also shared his thoughts on the office being highly commended in the headline award: "The Belfast office continues to grow from strength to strength and this great achievement is a clear indication of this strategic growth. With our continued ZCD2030 upskilling for our staff members, we are always looking for new ways to further cement our commitment to achieving net zero carbon on all our projects by 2030."
