Perth-based Senior Sustainability Consultant, Ankita Gurav, has been awarded a Commendation in the NAWIC WA Awards for the Curtin University ‘Excellence in Sustainability’ category.
Held by the Western Australian chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), the awards recognise built environment professionals that have made a substantial contribution to improving environmental sustainability outcomes.
With a background as a practising architect and a Masters degree in Energy Efficient Buildings, Ankita has developed specialist expertise in providing modelling and design advisory to improve the passive performance of buildings and optimise environmental responsiveness.
“My goal is to influence the industry with the knowledge and expertise I gain from my work, and this award is such amazing recognition of what I have achieved so far,” Ankita said.
