Amalgamated Property Group’s Civic Quarter development on the gateway Northbourne Avenue site in the heart of Canberra’s Civic precinct has formally gained Silver level WELL Core & Shell Certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). It is the first Cundall project in Australia’s national capital to have achieved the credential.
Cundall provided the sustainability framework, benchmarking and WELL rating assessment and verification services for Amalgamated Property Group’s Civic Quarter delivery team.
The PCA Grade A 13 storey commercial office sets a new and timely precedent for commercial office space in the ACT. Cundall Sydney Senior Sustainability Consultant and WELL Faculty Member, Jay Dee Dearness says WELL features such as elevated indoor air quality, air monitoring and air purification in lifts are the type of features that will reassure workers returning to the workplace after the Covid pandemic.
