Head of Lighting Design in Hong Kong, Pete Shing, had the honour to speak at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Asian Lighting Forum 2024 on the topic of "Enlightening the Future: Sustainable Design in the Lighting Industry”.
Pete shared his key lighting design approaches for achieving sustainable design outcomes, such as designing lighting solutions that are responsive to the surroundings, incorporating natural elements to optimise energy usage, and embracing innovative technology and products built from sustainable materials to minimise environmental impact throughout the entire lifecycle.
