As part of World Green Building Week, Cundall is highlighting how we can create a climate positive future.

Our September Breakfast Briefing in London, hosted by Cyril Knabe-Nicol, Associate, will focus on the pathway that allows us to move from neutralising our impact to creating regenerative systems that contribute to the planet's health and vitality.

The journey from net zero carbon to incorporate regenerative design is ready to take the next step in approach and mindset. The industry is currently focusing on reducing its impact with initiatives such as RICS whole life carbon assessment v2, GLA Circular Economy Statement, Westminster retrofit first policy, which move us all towards our collective net zero carbon targets.

As regenerative design goes beyond merely minimising harm and actively creates positive ecological, social and economic value, our speakers will dwell deeper into the topic and how collectively our industry can restore and rejuvenate ecosystems.

Cyril Knabe-Nicol will kick start the session by introducing regenerative and holistic design.

Gilles Alvarenga, Associate, will provide an update on the current state of the market and whole life carbon, including circular economy and material selection.

Blanca Russell Escrihuela, Graduate Sustainability Engineer, will discuss retrofit first and emerging policies.

Robert Modler, Principal Sustainability Consultant, will close the event by highlighting urban regeneration and community engagement.

If you are interested in attending, please get in touch with Inese Gailane.
