In line with the continued growth of our business in our UK region, we are looking for a Commercial Assistant (FTC) to be based in our Manchester office to support the day-to-day operations of the UK Finance Team.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive commercial support on engineering and sustainability projects. This includes assisting Project Managers with creating project plans, tracking team resources, project financial reporting and general project management support.

You will want to join our team if you enjoy working in a collaborative, varied, and fast-paced environment. You pride yourself in providing excellent service, proven attention to detail, and strong multitasking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Become a Deltek system Super User and train our Project Managers.

  1. Assist Project Managers with updating the following project activities in Deltek:
    1. Project information and contract values.
    2. Project resourcing and plans.
    3. Creating new opportunities, converting to active projects, and closing opportunities.
  1. Assist Project Managers with month-end including project revenue recognition, invoicing and debt collection in the following areas:
    1. Assist with project revenue recognition.
    2. Assistance with drafting invoices and debt resolution.
    3. Follow-up of variations and purchase orders.
  1. Assist with the administration of project expenses and sub-consultants in the following areas:
    1. Follow-up of sub-consultant contracts and insurances.
    2. Sub-consultant payment reconciliations and approvals.
    3. Project expense coding in Deltek per the budget.
  1. Preparation of project commercial data presentations for stakeholders.

技能要求

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a professional service and/or consultancy environment.
  • Experience working with large financial and project systems
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, a strong ability to prioritise competing demands, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience in taking instructions from multiple stakeholders, while also managing expectations and taking pride in the consistent delivery of an excellent service
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Working autonomously and managing confidential information.
