Duties will include:

• Direct support for Design Teams (mainly MEP)
  • Assistance for Design Teams in design development with utilisation of BIM technologies and tools, in particular preliminary set-up of models
  • Technical advice, help in optimisation and automation of work
  • Co-creation, maintenance and modification of Revit families database and Model Templates
• Involvement in projects and proposals (mainly MEP)
  • Support for proposals in scope of defining BIM deliverables
  • Various BIM Management and BIM Coordination tasks when involved to a project, including:
    • ACC projects setup, administration and maintenance
    • ACC & BIM Technical guides for projects
    • Support in model federation and cross-discipline coordination
    • BEP requirements verification
    • Audits of BIM models
    • Development / Research for scripts customised for a project
  • Additional role of MEP BIM Lead involved in clash resolution in MEP models
• BIM Implementation
  • Collaboration within the BIM Team in creation, updating, implementing and verifying internal BIM standards and guides, procedures and templates
• Trainings
  • Development of training materials and tests for Design Teams in scope of utilised design software
• Involvement in global Cundall Digital Engineering Initiatives

Expectations

• Electrical background preferred
• In depth knowledge on BIM processes
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in BIM driven design processes
• Hands-on experience in Autodesk authoring and coordination software (Revit, Navisworks)
• Good command of English
• Strong communicational and organisational skills
• Ability to independently solve technical challenges

Interest and knowledge on digital automation tools (Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper) welcome

Having already been accredited with a relevant degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering and having worked at BIM level 2, you have gained strong practical experience of using Revit in a similar building-based role, you are adept at planning and organising your workload and communicating effectively with engineering and AutoCAD specialists.

Has experience in automation, BIM, and Revit API development in different domains. Has experience in training and mentoring other people in automation and BIM. Should have experience on all the disciplines in MEP.

You have sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Cobie data, and BIM360, and have proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines, and crucially – share Cundall’s passion for creative, sustainable, and intuitive design.

Knowledge working with ISO19650 standards will be an added advantage.
