IQVIA (formerly Quintiles), the world’s largest provider of biopharmaceutical development and commercial outsourcing services, has relocated its regional headquarters in Shanghai to Fenglin Life Science Park. This project comprises over 4,000 sqm of commercial space spanning two storeys and is designed to provide exceptional quality workspaces for 450 staff. The final fit-out has achieved LEED-C1 Platinum Certification.
We provided building commissioning authority services and LEED consultancy for the new fit-out to help achieve the world-class LEED-CI Platinum rating. Sustainability features included a high efficiency VRV system with advanced automated occupancy controls, and LED lighting linked to smart occupancy and daylight sensor controls. Additionally, we specified environmentally responsible materials including locally sourced bamboo and furniture with high recycled content.
Joe Tang, Director, commented, "Our close collaboration with the client and design team was instrumental in guiding the project to achieve a LEED-CI Platinum rating. Through our extensive office fit-out experience, we have ensured that all works have been carried out to the client’s specifications and all building service installations are working correctly and efficiently."
Achieving the world-leading sustainability benchmark of LEED-CI Platinum is an important reflection of our client’s mission and values.
