Burwood Brickworks

With the ambitious goal of being the most sustainable shopping centre in the world, this super-neighbourhood retail centre followed on from an international design competition. It features a net positive energy building with major retailers, cinema, childcare, medical centre, a rooftop farm, and 40+ specialty stores.

Cundall’s sustainability team acted as the Green Star Accredited Professional for its 6-Star Design & As-Built rating. The team also undertook the Life Cycle Assessment, in conjunction with energy and greenhouse gas emissions modelling, providing support from Town Planning stage all the way through to commissioning stages.
