Roomzzz Manchester Corn Exchange Aparthotel

  • £25m redevelopment of a Grade II listed iconic Manchester’s building which was transformed into one of UK’s best independent dining facilities. The £13m Roomzzz Aparthotel, part of the major redevelopment, included 114 brand new boutique hotel bedrooms with bespoke design.

Rosalind Franklin Building, University of Wolverhampton

  • Cundall was engaged by mechanical and electrical subcontractor Lorne Stewart to carry out the building services design for the refurbishment and expansion of a 6-storey laboratory building for the University of Wolverhampton.

Rotherham Mortuary and Bereavement Centre

Rotherham, United Kingdom

  • The design of a new two storey building located within the grounds of Rotherham General Hospital.  The purpose built facility will provide modern facilities in a sensitive environment that considers the needs of bereaved relatives, visitors and staff.  This bereavement centre has been designed to provide a safe and convenient facility for grieving relatives and friends with a dedicated entrance. There are also enhanced mortuary facilities and dedicated collection space for funeral directors and private ambulances. 

Royal Adelaide Hospital

Adelaide, SA, Australia

  • The 800-bed Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) is the state’s flagship hospital, providing a comprehensive range of the most complex clinical care to an estimated 85,000 inpatients and 400,000 outpatients each year. This PPP (Public Private Partnership) project was the first large-scale hospital complex in Australia to achieve a certified 4 Star Green Star – Healthcare As Built rating.

Royal Children's Hospital

Melbourne, VIC, Australia

  • Opened in 2011, the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne is based on ‘state of the art’ ideas developed by the Hospital around a family-centred care model that puts children and their parents at the centre of the facility.

Royal Hospital Kilmainham

Dublin, Ireland

  • The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is an iconic landmark. Built in 1690, this building has looked after veterans from the Battle of the Boyne as well as serving as the Garda Headquarters for 20 years then becoming home to the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA).

  • This large residential led mixed-use development will house 830 apartments with associated retail outlets above three levels of basement car parks. Cundall is providing all building services and sustainable design for the development.
