With an academic background in engineering and architecture, I decided to obtain a master’s degree in structural engineering after an industry placement year at Cundall. Since joining Cundall as a graduate in 2021, I have realised how creative engineers can be and how my passion for architecture compliments design and harmonises with technical aspects.
Creativity
In my work as a structural engineer is creativity is key. During the initial concept phase of a project, free flow of ideas and ambitious thinking is what achieves innovation and makes the project stand out.
Collaboration
Collaborating with skilled and dedicated designers and fabricators is a highlight of my job. Their insights, expertise, and shared knowledge inspire creativity and present exciting challenges. Successful project outcomes almost always stem from strong collaborations.
