My rural upbringing inspired me to work towards tackling the global challenge of climate change; I’ve seen first-hand how the world is changing for the worse around us. The built environment faces huge challenges in making its own green transition to a sustainable future. I want to help drive these changes.
I came into sustainability after completing a degree in Economics with German, with a sustainability focus, at the University of Birmingham. I joined Cundall after working in sustainability for a medical manufacturing company in South Wales. Throughout the years I have gained insight into carbon accounting, climate risk analysis and biodiversity, as well as recently expanding into whole life carbon. All of these are essential towards a net zero carbon future.

Creativity

The single biggest lesson I’ve learned in my life to date is that if you can’t find an existing solution, don’t be afraid to create one. Sustainability is constantly evolving, with new challenges emerging constantly. Creating agile solutions to evolving problems in sustainability is something I truly enjoy. My role often involves co-ordinating across a wide range of areas to achieve a broader goal.

Collaboration

Everything in life is a team effort, with each team member bringing their own unique expertise and experience to the table. Working with such a wide range of innovative sustainability professionals at Cundall has expanded my mind in ways I never thought possible.
