Having a father as mechanic and a grandfather as a royal engineer, I’ve always been interested in all things mechanical. This spurred me on to wanting a career in engineering. I started out as a trainee engineer, continued learning to become a consultant engineer and joined Cundall in 2013. 25+ years later and I’m still enjoying the challenges of delivering exciting and innovative projects.
Creativity
With the growing emphasis on retrofit, there has never been a better opportunity to come up with creative solutions to difficult problems. The work we’ve delivered on several projects has allowed us to come up with innovative, packageable and highly efficient solutions to the challenge of net zero carbon in existing buildings.
Excellence
The nature of building design is overcoming challenges, and for every challenge there’s always a myriad of solutions. The art is finding the very best solution, which is what drives me as an engineer.
