Marko Amezaga-Kutija

I joined Cundall in 2019 after graduating from Sheffield University with a Masters in civil engineering. Here, I have maintained a keen interest in the advancement of engineering and have been involved in a publication of an article in Hydrology (Numerical and Experimental Approaches to Estimate Discharge Coefficients and Energy Loss Coefficients in Pressurized Grated Inlets). I am currently working towards chartership status with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).

As an engineer, our principal duty is to provide and ensure safety through delivering high quality designs. Each design we produce should be an improvement on the last, which can only be achieved by incorporating lessons learnt from pervious projects.

I have had the opportunity to work on projects in multiple countries and with design teams from Cundall offices across the globe. Collaborating with other offices and working with new engineers is always best way to learn new skills and develop as an engineer.
