Gilles Alvarenga

I graduated in Architecture and Urban Design and completed a Master's in Architecture, Energy and Sustainability. Since graduating, I have worked in the built environment, supporting the construction industry in delivering consistently ambitious projects with strong sustainability credentials across the globe. I particularly enjoy the diversity of projects at Cundall – they encompass all the necessary workstreams to deliver net zero developments.

I appreciate working collaboratively with the design and engineering teams addressing challenges together, minimising a project’s environmental impact. I am passionate about crafting innovative solutions that not only benefit the natural environment and building occupants, but also contribute to the wider progress of the industry and society. I deeply value the transformative power of creativity in this process, valuing how it enhances our environment and enriches lives.

I am particularly interested in the robust collaboration between interdisciplinary teams within Cundall's projects in the built environment, spanning a diverse range of projects. It provides us with a comprehensive and holistic perspective across various domains related to sustainability and whole life carbon.
