Frances Brown

I joined Cundall in 2024 to lead the workplace sector in London as a building services Partner. My passion for engineering stems from my desire to creatively apply my strengths in science and maths. The construction industry appealed to me because it offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of disciplines. With nearly 20 years' experience in building services engineering in London, I am a chartered engineer with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath. I am also an active member of the British Council for Offices. I am also an active member of the British Council for Offices (BCO), where I have previously served on the BCO London awards judging panel and the Board of Management, and I am currently serving on the BCO Research Committee.

I view the work that we do as part of a much bigger picture. We are part of an industry community that is shaping the world around us for the future. Every project we undertake is moving the whole industry forward in its own way. Through my roles at the BCO, I am dedicated to being a part of that journey, contributing to the advancement of the industry and the creation of better workplaces.

I love the way things evolve quickly in this industry, constantly presenting us with new challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege to work on projects that have achieved industry firsts in sustainability and methods of construction. These experiences have provided great opportunities to work with my team to solve new and ever-changing challenges.
