Dr David Sparks

I am a qualified environmental engineer with ten years’ experience working within the sustainability field and a PhD in low-carbon transitions in the building sector. I have undertaken hands-on research into climate adaptation in the tropics and find great value in biophilic approaches to design and engineering. My central goal is to contribute to a sustainable and resilient future.

I have a keen interest in facilitating sustainable design outcomes by working with project teams to enhance the quality of buildings, improve energy and water efficiency and foster resilient outcomes. As engineers we always try to bring a little more ‘good’ into the world.

I strive to deliver quality in every piece of work I contribute to. To me it’s important that as engineers, we try our hardest to figure out how to improve our built environments to align with a truly sustainable future.
