Danny Hillyard

I started working in the lift industry in 1992 and moved into lift design and consultancy in 2009, before progressing to the role of senior engineering consultant. Having worked in a wide range of disciplines, I am experienced in lift manufacturing, lift installation, refurbishment and lift maintenance both from an engineering and project management viewpoint.

Lift and escalator projects require coordination between multiple teams and disciplines across a range of sectors. It is critical to the successful delivery of these projects that we all work together collectively and learn from one another.

We must constantly learn from ours and other peoples' experiences to deliver the best and most appropriate design solutions for new lifts and manage existing vertical transportation resources in a responsible and ethical way.
