Daniele Albanese

I studied the science and technology of musical communication at University of Milan, and my major focused on aspects of combining IT and music. Since I began my professional acoustics career in 2009, I have thrived on resolving complex challenges. I am currently a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Acoustics, the Institute of Acoustics (UK) and the Australian Acoustical Society where I served on the NSW Division Committee.

When I wrote my thesis ‘Building Acoustics: theory and practice’, I analysed the differences between acoustic design and post-construction elements, highlighting common defects and the practical solutions. The findings in this thesis remain valid, and I have been to provide similar solutions to clients, delivering exquisite acoustic designs for them.

Through my background in music, I can easily relate to the creative minds of our clients and understand what matters to them. This allows me to create quality design solutions with out-of-the-box approaches and innovative features.
