Daniel Floyd

I joined Cundall in 2015 from Hoare Lea as a Graduate Electrical Engineer. I hold a BEng Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Derby. Since joining Cundall I have studied and passed my MSc in Building Services Engineering from the London Southbank University and have been granted CEng with the IET. During my engineering career, I developed an interest in sustainable electrical engineering and digital engineering. My current role allows me to create a sustainable future within building services and to develop my skills within the future of the digital engineering market.

I thrive when collaborating with a varied design team. I enjoy listening and helping others and creating a joint approach to engineering. I also enjoy networking with likeminded professionals from the built environment to understand their drivers and perspectives of where our industry is going.

Design is about innovation and innovation is about thinking wider than the usual circle. I’m always striving to challenge the way we do things hoping to create a better path forward. My career has given me the opportunities to ‘challenge the norm’ but has ensured that I'm collaboratively finding solutions and communicating them as solutions.
