Cormac Farrell

With over 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, I've been involved in lead design and project management roles. Working in Australia and Ireland has allowed me to learn new fascinating technical practices dedicated to all things critical systems. Obtaining a Master's in Project and Programme Management from University Limerick has also helped me develop into the chartered electrical engineer I am today, as it provided me with effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Collaborating with the critical systems team is the highlight of my job. Working with the team from other offices around the world, on exciting, innovative new engineering projects is beyond exciting; being able to hear new innovations and methods for designing net zero carbon projects is fascinating to say the least.

Creativity is the key to solving any problem. Without thinking outside the box, challenges and design implications won't change at all. If I find a task repetitive, I probably need to do something differently. Thankfully, working in a multinational corporation with so many creative engineers allows for creative thinking on a consistent basis.
