Ciarán Clancy

As an electrician, I became curious about the science behind what we were building. As such, I returned to the Universities of TU Dublin and Edinburgh to earn my degree in Electrical Services Engineering. I subsequently worked as an electrical engineer on iconic office buildings and data centres in London and in 2018, moved to Cundall's Madrid office. Now a design manager, I’ve relished the challenge of using my engineering skills in a new language.

My passion for engineering led me to this career, but the people I work with make it rewarding. We often collaborate on projects with team members from various offices and countries and the diversity fosters creativity and encourages innovative solutions. Being part of such a collaboration to drive excellence excites me the most.

Cundall demonstrates its dedication to excellence daily. As an engineer, I work with clients who push the boundaries of what is possible and this has become a guiding principle for me. As a design manager for data centre clients, we achieve excellence by advising clients on the most efficient solutions available.
