Charlotte Mercer

I joined Cundall in 2015 as an Electrical Engineer in London having previously worked in St. Albans. I studied Environmental Engineering and Architecture at the University of the West of England in Bristol and relocated back to Bristol with Cundall in 2020 to develop and grow our South West team. I am a huge advocate of outreach and have been heavily involved in the CIBSE Groups including chairing the Young Engineers Network for London. I also took part in the GBC UK Future Leaders Programme 2019.

I enjoy that the industry demands creativity in the engineering solutions we produce and also in the way that we work. Cundall values my alternative background and encourages me to challenge and be creative with the way we solve problems.

My favourite part of my job is the level of collaboration involved for success and the relationships I get to build both within Cundall and with external collaborators. I believe that we create the built environment for people and communities and to do this successfully a diverse team, communication and a collaboration of expertise is required.
