Belinda Morgan

Like many engineers, I fell into building services. My grades in maths and science caught the eye of my employer, who encouraged me to train as an engineer. Undertaking all my qualifications though day release enabled me to build my professional career at the same time as studying. Fast-forward to 2014, where I joined Cundall as Partner and deliver high quality projects while teaching our younger engineers the importance of business development and professional relationships. I also lead the government sector.

Collaboration has always been a hot topic for me. I have always believed in teamwork. Some of the biggest engineering challenges that I’ve had over the years have been solved by making good use of the resources around me. I have seen this collective approach work in so many ways.

Building upon the success we have had delivering net zero carbon in the education sector, I am currently working on how we can transfer knowledge across the practice. By being creative with our design, we can challenge the ‘normal’ by balancing it with realistic and affordable solutions for our clients. I have clients that date back decades and this fresh way of thinking will help shape our future.
