Akira Aguirre

My interest in architecture and design, as well as physics and engineering in general, naturally guided me towards studying civil engineering and specialising in structural engineering. I began my professional journey in marine engineering at a small consultancy firm. In 2021, I joined Cundall and have since been involved in a variety of projects. This diversity keeps my work engaging and reaffirms the career path I’ve chosen.

Engaging in creative thought is not only a pleasure for me, but also an essential skill when faced with complex tasks. The optimal solution may not always be immediately apparent, but when you find it, it feels like finding a small hidden treasure.

Sharing knowledge and collaborating with others has always been key for human progress. Cundall gives me an opportunity to collaborate not only with people working on the same project but also with people in other disciplines within the company.
