Cundall has achieved major success with multiple wins under several categories at the Quality Building Award (QBA) 2022.
Jointly organised by nine leading professional institutions and organisations from the property and construction sector in Hong Kong, the biennial Quality Building Award is like the Oscars to the Hong Kong construction industry. It recognises the outstanding efforts behind the design and construction of quality buildings.
One of Cundall’s sustainability consulting projects, North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre, a modular facility built to meet COVID-19 medical needs in 2020, has won the Innovative Project Award and Grand Award under the Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building – Government, Institution or Community) category.
The Transport Department’s Vehicle Examination Centre has won a Merit Award in the Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building – Government, Institution or Community) category, while CUHK Medical Centre received a Merit Award in the Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building – non-Government, Institution or Community) category.
We are very honoured to be acknowledged again following our win at the Quality Building Award 2020. We are also glad to be involved in these exceptional projects and contribute to smarter, more sustainable, and superior buildings in Hong Kong.
Delighted by the results of the awards, Joe Tang, Hong Kong office Director commented, “We want to thank the Quality Building Award Organising Committee for recognising our efforts in sustainability and our clients for always believing in our team to deliver first-class designs.”
