Cundall celebrated two wins at the BCO National Awards for Diageo 1HQ winning the Fit out of Workplace category and Five Bank Street (EBRD) winning the Innovation category.

The award ceremony seeks to celebrate excellence in the office space and provides recognition for top quality design, functionality and a benchmark for excellence in workplaces.

Kevin Hayes, Partner, said "Diageo’s aspirations for a flexible, inclusive workspace with sustainability and wellness integral to the design have led to several innovations on the project. A dedicated wellness floor at the top of the building and a staff bar and shop at ground level are just some of the facilities included in the design. To support this, Cundall enhanced the building’s ventilation systems and deployed environmental space monitoring sensors and SMART technologies to help achieve the quality of environment such a progressive space required."

Colin O’Connor, Associate, said "Understanding the EBRD’s aspirations and working practices was key to delivering the right level of acoustic performance. Five Bank Street displays our core values of creativity, excellence, collaboration, and integrity through benchmark testing of existing office to define performance criteria, producing a world-class project with acoustics at the forefront of the final design."
