We are delighted to be shortlisted for four categories at the Construction Technology Awards 2022. The awards, part of the Construction Technology Festival, look for outstanding examples of digital technology implementation, transformation and leadership that have helped deliver projects better – be that through improved design, efficiency, cost, sustainability or occupancy wellness.
Cundall has been shortlisted for the following categories:
Digital Project of the Year focuses on how digital tools have been successfully implemented on a specific project. The Storm is a world first indoor rollercoaster, pushing the boundaries of all aspects of design. Digital engineering played a pivotal role in the success of this project, with extensive parametric modelling being used from the pre-concept stage.
Digital Design Organisation of the Year recognises organisations that implement digital methodologies into the workflow of projects to aid design decisions. At Cundall, we are passionate about innovation and digital engineering is a key driver across everything we do. We nurture a culture that respects technical excellence and truly believe that every project should achieve genuine benefits through our involvement.
Sustainable Organisation of the Year honours companies that have embedded Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into their strategy and have systematically executed ESG initiatives and processes within their business. Driven by the built environment’s overwhelming responsibility to reduce its emissions and help achieve global sustainability goals, we are playing our part in the race to net zero.
ConTech Rising Star of the Year recognises a rising star from the construction value chain, who is fast gaining importance in their organisation and field and is a role model for digital technology. Calum Perey is an exceptional structural engineer with a passion for innovation and digital engineering. As a young professional, Calum has an outstanding track record of projects and out-of-the-box solutions delivered.
Lee French, Partner, Operations Director MENA comments: “I am delighted that our work in the digital field has led to us being recognised and shortlisted in so many important categories at the Construction Technology Awards. To be able to showcase our digital skills on projects and the amazing work our team are doing behind the scenes is a great testament to the emphasis we put on driving digitisation within the industry. It’s imperative we share this with our peers, and we can all learn from one another to keep construction moving in the right direction.”
