Cundall, together with Gratte Brothers Ltd, is pleased to see 21 Moorfields, Deutsche Bank's EU and UK headquarters, being recognised as the Best Tall Building MEP Services Project at the Tall Building Awards 2024.
Paul Sperring, Associate Director, commented: “This award highlights the teamwork and cross company collaboration we had on this project. The challenge of the project demanded excellence and innovative engineering solutions. For example, resilience being the main driver from an MEP stance, allowed us to offer the solution of a substantially resilient services strategy, normally only seen in data centres. It was a team effort and I’m proud of our whole project team for delivering 21 Moorfields!”
21 Moorfields is a flagship, high-specification office development situated over London’s Moorgate underground and rail station, and the Elizabeth line ticket hall. It has BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and LEED Gold ratings, and is also WELL enabled.
Joe Bradley, Operations Director, Gratte Brothers Ltd, commented: "It was a great evening representing a grand achievement for both companies and the project teams involved with 21 Moorfields. The project brought challenges, but achieving what we did and having the MEP delivery recognised with this award is fantastic."
