World Green Building Week APAC
Retrofitting Asia Pacfic's built environment for a net zero carbon future
Cutting emissions from the built environment is urgently needed if we are to meet our climate goals. In the race to hit carbon reduction targets, existing buildings are the key. For example, in Hong Kong, buildings account for over 90% of electricity and over 60% of carbon emissions.
For World Green Building Week (WGBW) 2022, Cundall’s sustainability leaders and panellists discussed the retrofit process for existing buildings, as well as the future proofing strategies that asset owners can adopt. This not only creates substantial progress towards reaching net-zero emissions goals, but it also makes good business sense.
Our moderator, Oliver Grimaldi and panellists from Cundall, Benoy, Vicinity, and Centuria shared their views on the net zero carbon challenges in APAC and what they are doing to future proof their clients’ existing assets.
