Sustainnovation - Design for Innovative Sustainable Procurement Strategies

Cundall Birmingham is hosting a materials exhibition and a series of three events to illustrate and explore local products that underpin innovation, functionality, and sustainability across the built environment.

Throughout design and construction, efforts are made to minimise waste from construction, strip-out, and municipal sources as well as ensuring components are reversible and deconstructable.

This session will specify the whole life embodied carbon impacts of new materials, minimise the inflow of materials during the design stage, and maximise the utilisation of biogenic, and recycled content materials with exhibitors including Aggregate Industries, EMR, Maconda, Ventac, Britannia Fire, Tobermore and more.
